MANICHIACHIA is a slow fashion brand founded in 2022 by Sydney Ma.

Since its founding, MANICHIACHIA has been more than a purveyor of slow fashion; it has always championed the deep connection between "feelings" and fashion.

MANICHIACHIA was born from a desire to create pieces that become a personal emblem or a suit of armor. Sydney's philosophy is clear: “Feeling beautiful and looking like yourself” is different from merely “looking beautiful.” True beauty emerges when we feel confident enough to admire our own reflection—this is when we are at our most authentic, most radiant, and truly ourselves.

THE FOUNDER

Founder of MANICHIACHIA, Sydney Ma graduated from Istituto Marangoni Paris in 2020 with a degree in Fashion & Buying. Despite studying fashion, she has always embraced a minimalist wardrobe—fitting her life into just one suitcase through years abroad.

Preferring effortless, versatile pieces over fast trends, Sydney designs for women who value comfort, longevity, and ease. Standing at 160cm with a typical Asian pear-shaped body, she deeply understands the desire for flattering lines and proportion. Her experience shapes MANICHIACHIA’s mission: to create stylish, timeless essentials tailored for Asian silhouettes, with a touch of European minimalism.
